He is survived by his twin daughters, Jennifer Pinkston and her husband Lyle, of Morganfield, Kentucky and Jessica Aldridge and her husband Jared, of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren Ross and Owen Aldridge and Raegan and Reed Pinkston. He also has one surviving brother Ronald Leininger and his wife Carol. He also has two nieces Dawn Abrams Read and Lori Abrams Abee. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Leininger and his mother, Pauline (Swanger) Leininger, both of Hollywood, Florida.
Michael was born on June 2, 1950 in Reading, Pennsylvania, to parents Elmer and Pauline (Swanger) Leininger. He graduated from McArthur High School, in Hollywood, Florida. He was employed as a Lineman for Florida Power and Light (FPL), where he worked for more than 30 years.
Michael was a loving father and hard worker. He loved listening to music, playing the guitar, attending car shows, and even a love of collecting cars. His favorite sports team was the Miami Dolphins. Later in life he enjoyed traveling to the beach to visit his children and grandchildren annually.
Visitation and Reception will be held on June 10, 2020, at 10am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 6530 West St. Rd. 84, Davie, Florida. Graveside service will immediately follow.
