Sandy, my prayers go out to you and your family.  The deep love for your brother always shone in your eyes when you talked about Mike - whether it was a Dolphin adventure or a Gil family event.  

I am so sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to his fiancé and family.  From the moment I met Mikey 12 yrs ago, I could see what a genuine man he was, there was an instant friendship and what a friend he was!  He will be missed by so many.  Mikey I will never forget what you did for my family.  You never wanted the recognition for how you helped us, but I think it’s ok to share now… Those of you who are reading this and worked with us know that my nephew needed to have urgent surgery in NY 5 years ago.  His doctor needed at least $1600 to do the surgery…Mikey gave the $1600 as soon as he read my nephews story, said to concentrate on the rest of the money…but said it had to stay anonymous, he didn’t want any recognition….that is the kind of guy Mikey was.   He was truly an amazing person and friend!  There will never be another like Mikey.   I will especially miss the jokes between Armando, you and me.  I will miss seeing you when I get to work and I will miss seeing you when I leave at the end of my day… You will always have a special place in my heart.  Miss you my friend!

My depest condolences to Mike's family for the lost of a great guy. I was not close to Mike but the little bit of time that we interacted while I worked with him at Kellstrom, he shown to be a genuine and a very loved person. May God give his family the strenght to accept his prompt departure from this earth.

I have known Mike for the past 11+ years and in this time I have yet to meet someone with such stature and integrity. Mike was a person who was respectful, honest, exhibited strong values and most of all genuine...a quality difficult to come by in today's world. Mike I will miss you dearly you were a exceptional friend and co-worker. My thougths and prayers are with Marta and the Gil family. God Bless!!

Mike was a kind and selfless person.   Always concerned about others first, a rare commodity in today’s society.   You taught your son well and should be very proud of him. Although we didn't see much of each other, we always had that special connection.  Not only did we share the same day of birth, we also share the same love and devotion for our family and friends with the exceptional values that our family have taught us growing up.  My heart and soul deeply hurt for your parents, "little" sister and Marta because we have truely lost an ANGEL !!!

Mike, in the all too short months that I had the opportunity to work with and get to know you, I quickly came to consider you a close friend. That was, in part, due to your exceptional work ethic and work skills, but, in realitiy, mostly due to you simply being you. 

It was always good talking with you, whether it was work, swimming pools, Home Depot and of course, deer jerky. I am only beginning to comprehend this loss.
