

Monique Magloire Coby was born to Paul and Danielle Magloire on July 1, 1937 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and was the second of four children. As a young adult she moved to New York where she met and married Claude Coby and were blessed with four children, Marie-Claude, Richard, Nathalie and Alain. In the early 90’s they moved to Pembroke Pines, FL where she continued to raise her family near her loved ones and friends.
Today we are honoring, celebrating, and remembering the life of Monique Coby who was granted her angel wings on June 2nd 2022. Her contagious laugh, welcoming heart, and kind spirited soul brought love and happiness to so many. She had this magical way of bringing joy every time she walked into a room. No one who met her could ever forget her vibrant energy that was filled with so much compassion. Monique was a natural born caretaker and always went out of her way to help others no matter what. She had a lust for life filled with positivity and a passion for dancing. She will be missed dearly.
Monique is survived by her children Marie Claude Coby and husband Colin Taylor, Richard Coby and wife Rejane Coby, Nathalie Coby-Chancy and husband Roger (Tiro) Chancy, Alain Coby, sister Danielle Burke brothers Claude Magloire and wife Michelle Magloire, Serge Magloire and wife Danie Magloire, grandchildren Damien Coby, Nikki Castro, Kayla Coby, Cedric Chancy and Anisah Chancy; great grandchildren Zayden Coby and Xavier Smith. Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
