Patricia A. Holt

It is with great sadness we announce that Patricia Anne Holt, our Mom, MiMi and friend, passed away on May 31, 2026 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Pat was born April 17, 1938 in Parma, OH to Ann (McCarthy) and Edward J. Prokop. She and her brother, Edward, grew up in Parma, attending Parma Senior High School. Pat was very social and had many friends. She did some local modeling and competed in several local pageants and was selected as the Queen of Parma’s Silver Jubilee Celebration.

Pat lived in Milwaukee and Philadelphia before settling in Cherry Hill, NJ to raise her family. She worked in real estate and owned an antique store. She had a great love for tennis and played for much of her life. Even after she stopped playing she never missed watching the major matches on TV. Pat also met her great love, Leo Holt in South Jersey. They married and relocated to their dream home on the intracoastal waterway in Pompano Beach, FL. Pat loved to socialize with her friends and participated in the fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis, Gold Coast Guild. All of her friends looked forward to attending her annual party during the Ft. Lauderdale Winterfest Boat Parade. Pat loved nothing more than being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished any time she could spend with them.

Besides her parents, Pat is predeceased by her brother, Edward M. Prokop, and her husband, Leo Holt. She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Ross Gleason (David) and Tracey Weisel; her grandchildren: Alexandra Ross, Bridget Gleason, Kyle Gleason, Justin Weisel, Matthew Weisel and Colleen Gleason; her great grandchildren: Gavin Grimaldi and Gracie Grimaldi, and her dear friend, Diego Acuna who stopped by often and always made her smile.

A Memorial Gathering (Visitation) will be on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with funeral service at noon, followed by lunch, all to be held at Kraeer Funeral Home at 4061 N. Federal Hwy. in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Donations in Pat’s name can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation and the Susan G. Koman organization.
