Patrick Marc was born on March 15, 1971 in Miami, FL to Edith Joseph Marc and Jean Christian Marc, immigrants from Haiti. At an early age, Patrick moved to Brooklyn, NY, where he would spend much of his life.
Patrick was well-known on his block and recognized wherever he traveled, for being witty and having a gift for lively conversation. He was highly intelligent, reading from a very early age and skipping a grade in his earlier years. He aligned his intelligence with grit, which led to him completing law school while working full-time as a manager at a large corporation, becoming an editor of the prestigious law review, and being admitted to the New York Bar. He eventually took a leap of faith and opened his own practice, Marc Law Associates, PLLC.
Patrick proudly adopted the tagline of “Atypical Attorney”, as he noted that he defied people’s expectations of him based on appearances. He had a sense of style that showed he was comfortable navigating the streets as well as the C-suites. He was also constantly learning new things in business and working to expand the scope of his offerings. He was a fierce advocate for his clients, and his work for his community and his family was well appreciated.
Patrick in some ways seemed larger than life, as he survived multiple strokes and other brain injuries over a period of almost 10 years. His earthly form endured much before ultimately coming to rest on September 20, 2026.
Patrick was predeceased by his mother. He is survived by his father, his sisters, his nephew and godson Christopher, additional godchildren, and several beloved cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He will be forever missed and loved.
He will be remembered through the visitation and funeral service held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, FL 33317, with visitation on October 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service on October 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
