Phu Thi Lac

She was born on August 30, 1941 in Saigon, Viet Nam. She married Tuoi Van Huynh in 1965. Together, they had five children. She dedicated her life to being a caretaker and even in death, she found a way to take care of everyone she loved.

She is the embodiment of grace, wisdom and generosity. She had the uncanny ability to make even the most simple dishes the best thing you’ve ever tasted. Her grandchildren will forever speak about her egg rolls. She loved the quiet calm of mundane tasks and the simplest pleasures of life. She radiates warmth and compassion, and is easily considered the heart of the family.

She is survived by her four children (Yen, Loan, Phuong, Phat) and seven grandchildren (Michelle, Patrick, Jarod, Alexandra, Kevin, Bryan and Jayden) along with her husband (Tuoi Van Huynh). She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed, forever engraved into all the hearts of those who’ve had the pleasure to meet her.
