Raul A. Puente Perez

Sus hijos y hermanos tienen el profundo pesar de comunicar la partida de Raul Antonio Puente Pérez quien retornó a la casa de Dios Padre. Raúl falleció en paz cobijado en la Santísima Virgen y en el amor de su familia en la ciudad de Fort Lauderdale el 19 de octubre de 2015 a los 67 años.

Raul nació el 6 de febrero de 1948 en Quito, Ecuador, y fue hijo de Neptalí Puente Godoy y Rosita Pérez de Puente. Creció en Guayaquil y Quito donde estudió en los colegios San Jose, Espíritu Santo, Javier, Escuela Militar Eloy Alfaro, entre otros. Como ejecutivo petrolero, diplomático y empresario vivió en Bolivia, Brasil, Venezuela, España, Angola, Houston, Boca Ratón. Sus últimos años radicó entre West Palm Beach y Quito, visitando Guayaquil para ver a su amado Emelec.

Raúl fue hijo ejemplar, padre amoroso, hermano amado, maravilloso abuelo y tío querido. Celebramos su vida que nos llenó de alegría, su generosidad que nos cobijó, su inmenso amor de familia, que nos mantiene unidos. Su legado vive en nuestros corazones.

Lo sobreviven sus cinco hijos, Juan Carlos Puente Moncayo, Raul Andres Puente Moncayo, Jorge Eduardo Puente Quinteros, Mauricio Puente Quinteros y Pablo Puente Quinteros; sus nueras Nathaly Salas, Cecilia Toral, Marina Tikhonova; sus tres nietos Cristian, Ágata y Julian; y sus hermanos Cesar Puente Sáenz de Viteri, Rosita Puente-McIntyre, Neptalí Puente Pérez y Jimmy Puente Pérez.

La Santa Misa por su eterno descanso y la celebración de su vida tendrán lugar el viernes 30 de octubre entre las 5:00pm y 9:00pm en Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home 4061 North Federal Highway Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 (954) 565-5591.

His sons and siblings are deeply sorrowed to share the passing of Raul Antonio Puente Perez who returned home to the Eternal Father. Raul passed away peacefully under the protection of the Blessed Mother and the love of his family in the city of Fort Lauderdale on October 19th, 2015 at the age of 67.

Raul was born on February 6, 1948 in Quito, Ecuador, and was son of Neptalí Puente Godoy and Rosita Perez de Puente. He grew up in Guayaquil and Quito where he attended various schools. As an accomplished oil and gas industry executive, diplomatic representative and entrepreneur, he lived in Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Spain, Angola, Houston, and Boca Raton. During the past five years Raul settled between West Palm Beach and Quito, also visiting Guayaquil to cheer for his beloved soccer team, Emelec.

Raul was an exemplary son, loving father, beloved brother, wonderful grandfather and dear uncle. We celebrate his life which filled us with joy, his generosity which we enjoyed, and his immense family love that binds us together. His legacy lives on in our hearts.

Raul is survived by his five sons, Juan Carlos Puente Moncayo, Raul Andres Puente Moncayo, Jorge Eduardo Puente Quinteros, Mauricio Puente Quinteros, and Pablo Puente Quinteros; his daughters-in-law Nathaly Salas, Cecilia Toral, Marina Tikhonova; his three grandchildren, Cristian, Ágata and Julian; and his brothers and sister, Cesar Puente Saenz de Viteri, Rosita Puente-McIntyre, Neptalí Puente Perez and Jimmy Puente Perez.

A funeral mass and celebration of his life will be held on Friday, October 30th, between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home 4061 North Federal Highway Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 (954) 565-5591.
