So sorry to hear of Robs passing. So many memories and family get together. My love goes out to his brother Nick. ❤️ 😥

Came across this picture and wanted to share…. Christmas 3 years ago on a visit to Rob’s.  Sun setting across the lake, almost looks like it is saying it’s Goodbye.

Gone too early, my first love. 💕 So glad we knew each other in this life and perhaps we'll connect again in another. Here we are as teenagers in love! Such pretty children 🤩

This is what happens when you don't order the saddles bags with the bike.  Rob made the trip to our house in Loxahatchee from Sebring wearing the Scooby Doo backpack I sent him.  It was the funniest thing to see him pull into the drive with this on.

What can I say?  With our family being what it was and being in and out of each other's lives throughout the years, I am so grateful that we were able to spend so much time together over the past few of them.  

The morning phone calls on my way to work, spending time riding the back roads around Sebring and hanging out at the house, aggravating you until you let Patrick and me put up the Christmas lights on the boat house and finally getting to fly with you, are memories that I will have forever.

Spending growing up time with you in Davie, St. Augustine, Everglades City, you always making sure I knew that you were ALWAYS right :).  These are more memories that I will have forever.

Sadly, even though this journey has had to, not end, but get suspended, until a later time, when we will see each other again, I will still hear you in my head and in my heart.  You will be missed, and you are loved.



I was sorry to hear about Rob. Rob was a part of my life during some very formable years.  We spent a great deal of time together especially during the “Micanopy Days”. While our significant others (Scott and Helena) were off working  I n Gainesville we would ride around Alachua County in his little white car pretending to look for jobs. As you can imagine, that didn’t end well! Our departure was several years later and not on the best of terms, but I will always have a special place in my heart for him.

I had the honor to take good care of Mr.Bianco for a short period of time,but his wife Anna who's very supportive and caring make me feel like I know them for a long time. On behalf of vitas family our deepest  condolences to Anna and family. May Hod continue to give you strength .Love you!


I meet Mr Bianco as I called him…. Almost 15 years ago. He became to be one of my dearest “cabrones” I have ever meet! I loved him as part of my family and he will be miss by us all. Words will never describe the great, fun, cursing at each other every time we could and just fun times we always had. 
My wifeMery and my son Matias and daughter Fabiana will have you on our hearts for ever! 
Pura vida mi friend, so long!  

I only met Rob a few times, but those singular moments left me with a clear picture of his character: loving, kind, generous and intuitive.

The first time I met Rob I was only 16 - it was my first trip to the US alone and I had no clue about travel. I was told that my Aunty Anna and Rob would be at the airport to meet me and as I exited the customs area I got lost. Among hundreds of people I could not find my Aunt. Of course, this was 1999 - no cell phone and my Aunt hadn't seen me since I was 5! 

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I saw the familiar smile of my Aunty Anna. We hugged and I asked, "Aunty, how did you recognize me?" She replied, "it was Rob who spotted you. He took one look at you and said, "That's the kid! He's got the same walk!". Needless to say, I was taken by Rob's keen intuition and his warmth on that trip. He really treated me as his own nephew even though we had only just met. 

My subsequent meetings with Rob were unfortunately few and far between, but each time he made me feel so welcomed that I couldn't wait for the next time. I do hope we meet again someday!

I am going to share my favorite memory that even to recent would make Rob laugh..
This was back in the 80's we were having a trivial pursuit party at Rob's house. One of the questions was, who was Tonto's sidekick and I got all excited, raised my hand and yelled out, "the Long Ranger!" Rob starting laughing so hard,  I didn't realize he was called the  Lone Ranger! That was Act 1
Act 2. same night.. of course everyone was drinking and they ran out of liquor so they sent me to the liquor store to get some, "Jimmy Walker".  When I got to the store the guy was laughing so hard because I couldn't find Jimmy Walker.  He told me it was Johnny Walker.  When I got home they were all standing there laughing at me, UGH LOL
Act 3 same night.... someone put a drink on the coffee table and I said, here wait use a holster... well that was it Rob was like what the hell and was laughing so hard. Sooooo as it goes Rob would say to me, " hey call the Long Ranger and tell him to put on his holster to go get some Jimmy Walker!" Everyone that knows Rob really well can hear his voice saying it the way only Rob could! 
Rob, my cousin now it's your time to rest in peace.. my you be in flight and sail on a clear blue ocean forever!!    
 

You sure will be missed, Rob. We were fortunate to have had such a lovely spirit around the airport. Cheers to you, keep on soaring!

A dear friend who will be greatly missed.   He has a heart of gold and he would be offering a helping hand,  if one need it.  

A love of flying airplanes and flying off of the grass airstrip, hanger flying with people who would stop by was enjoyed by all. 

He is enjoying beautiful skies and tailwinds.    He you hear thunder, you know it’s Robert fussing cause he can not fly.   😂

You left us way to soon, my friend.

Rob, what can I say? We were always so similar with our outspoken and strong opinions , and I know I rubbed you the wrong way at times, 🤐 but in the 25+ years I knew you, I saw your big heart , and your kind generosity to  those you love. You once told me that if you and I were married , I would be your ex-wife , to which I responded ‘if we were married, you’d be my late husband!’ Truth! 😆
I will never forget your kindness to my girls and I after Ian died. On my visit soon after, you were always shoving food into my mouth because you thought I was too skinny. 🙄.   We never needed the financial help you so generously offered,  but they really enjoyed flying with you, and we all enjoyed yours and Anna’s  hospitality many many times, before and after Ian’s death.  Anna has been my best friend since we were 19 years old, and you too, became my friend, whom I called Misery 🤪 
Go with God my friend, and I know you will finally be at peace. Have a drink with Ian and give him my love. R. I. P 🙏🏽💗😭

I’ve had the pleasure of making many friendships through my work but Robert is definitely one of my favorites. We have absolutely nothing in common but  I truly treasured all my time with Robert, agreeing, disagreeing and just listening to each other. He might have been a little rough around the edges but he was as generous and sincere as anyone I’ve known. Gonna miss you, fly high my friend.
