Robert Anthony Broun Jr.

Robert was born in Charlotte, N.C. to Robert Anthony Broun, Sr. and Iris Murtagh on April 19, 1985. He went to school at Miramar High then completed the Automotive Service program from Sheridan Technical College making him a Certified Mechanic. He met Liz on June 2006 in Pembroke Pines, FL and they have been together for 16 years living on their property (Broun Acres) in Clewiston. He was a master of all trades and became a Rigger/Climber for many production companies for 7 years. He was a natural born athlete ever since a young age excelling in Hockey, Kung-Fu, and Soccer. He was a superb ice skater and a “risk taker”. Robert absolutely loved any kind of engine that he could take apart and assemble back together without any instructions. Besides gardening, his other passion were his animals - his dogs Chubs and Lady, and his cats Teggy and Gandolf. He was admired and respected by everyone who was lucky to have met him.

Robert is preceded in death by his father and Grandparents on both sides.

Robert is survived by his Mother Iris, his sister Samantha, his brother Kevin, his partner Liz, his niece Sophia, his nephews Connor, Liam, Deontay, Alex and baby Ethan, as well as his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 6530 W. State Road 84, Davie, FL 33317 (yellow building facing State Rd. 84 also known as 2401 Davie Rd. Davie, FL 33317), followed by a funeral service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM officiated by Father Octavio Gomez of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church.
