Robert Walford Mitchell III also known as “Yung R3”, age 21, died of complications from a hospital visit on November 20th, 2019.
Robert III is survived by his father Robert Jr. and mother Colleen, also his brothers Jahmar and Marshall and sisters Kadisha and Simone. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Sr. and Aunt Beulah. Robert III was born on September 5th, 1998 in Hollywood, FL to parents Robert and Colleen Mitchell. He attended Miramar High School and graduated from Plantation High School.
Robert III was very active and into physical fitness. He loved working out at home or in the gym. He played soccer, basketball, and football and was on various teams. He was also an active member of Journey Church. During his teen years, Robert’s passion for music grew. After graduating he worked at several retail locations, however, music was Robert’s first love.
Robert recorded many songs and performed every opportunity he got. He frequently performed live shows and had a large social media following. He recently appeared on Love and Hip Hop Miami, a popular music reality show, and had attracted the attention of multiple music management teams.
On November 20th, 2019 he was called home to perform with the heavenly choir. Although he may be physically gone, his spirit and music will live on forever. He will be truly missed by family, friends, and fans.
Robert will be dearly missed.
