He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Nancy Perez. He is loving father to Son - Juan Manuel Perez (Lisa) of Mooresville NC., Daughter- Nancy Wirt (Christopher) of Ocala, Fl., Son- Robert Barry Perez of Missouri and Daughter Tammy Strain (Bob) of Missouri.
He loved his grandchildren dearly they were a big part of his life they brought him so much love and happiness. Jesus, Yessenia, Jonathan and Briana he will forever guide you from above. He also loved all his family and friends near and far.
Robert always wore a Big Smile. His kindness and gentle nature will be missed by many but will never be forgotten. He took great pride in being a Sherriff for Monroe County back in the early 70’s. He also was an excellent mechanic for many years. He also worked for the City of Key West Port and Transit for over 18 years. All that knew him will always Remember our Dad as, “That Kind and Gentle Soul who had a Heart of Gold”
