Coach Robin was always there when you needed him and is the reason my girls started playing hockey.  With his infectious smile he could always light up the room and turn any negative into a positive.

He will be missed but never forgotten as his legacy will live on thru all the children he helped and hearts that he warmed.

Dear Alex and Raina, we were very saddend to hear of the loss of your dad. Robin was a good father to you both and a great youth hockey coach. We will never forget Robin teaching our grandson Devon how to skate at a very young age .  As Devon grew up Robin continued to help him with his hockey career and Devon reciprocated by helping Robin coach the young kids learning to play hockey for the first time.  He very much enjoyed his time helping Robin any time he could. The friendship  we had with Robin , Alex and Raina was great and will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with you during this hard time and always. You will be greatly missed Robin and always remembered.

I was sad to hear that Mr Roth had passed away. 
My daughter was going through a difficult time little more than a year ago she had expressed a desire to play Ice hockey. We went straight away to pines ice arena and we were met by coach Roth and he said absolutely there’s room for her. He took us to the room that had extra supplies and suites my daughter up with all the essentials needed to come to practice. He made her feel welcomed from the minute we stepped in. It was overwhelming how much interest he showed in her and all the kids that were playing. The youth need more coaches like him! 

Robin, you will be missed by all who knew and loved you.  You were my youngest brother and I'm so sad that you're gone.  You were a wonderful father to Raina and Alex. I love you, Pam

Dear Alex and Rina coach Robin started Josh when he was 5 in hockey school. He was so good with the little ones. A caring and talented man who loved his children and hockey. He was a great funny man who was a good friend for over 15 years with me. My deepest sympathies to you both. Especially one of adopted boys sharing rooms on many tournaments. Many good memories I will never forget. May he rest in peace. My prayers are with you at this time. Kathy
