Rosa Amalia Ortiz

Rosa is survived by her children Milagros Rodriguez, Gregory Ortiz, and Kurstie Janinda and grandchildren Alyssa DeJesus, Siann Ortiz, Daniela DeJesus, Raiden Ortiz, Azariah Janinda, Mattie Janinda, and Selah Janinda.

Rosa was born on May 17, 1953 in San Juan, P.R. to parents Rosa Ortiz-Cordero, Levid Ortiz and sister Margarita Ortiz.

Rosa Ortiz was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was a hardworking, strong, and loving woman, who raised 3 children on her own and molded them into the adults they are today.

Rosa was a crafty, active woman who was deeply involved in work as a Para-Professional specializing in special needs children for the majority of her life. She enjoyed music/singing, cooking, arts & crafts, karate movies, and spending time with family and friends.

She will always be remembered by her family and friends as a happy and cheerful person.

A viewing is scheduled for Rosa Ortiz on March 4, 2021 at 4pm-6pm. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate her life. The family would like to thank everyone for attending today, for the many prayers, the amazing comments/memories and all the love given to our beautiful Mami.
