On behalf of my husband Ivan and daughter Crystal I extend sincere condolences to the family of Salome.

It is very sad to lose a loved one , but those left behind must gain comfort from the fond memories.

This is a lovely family who had Queen Ivy as the head to teach the way to live and care about others and Salome followed in her footsteps.
God bless and comfort you all.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.

I don’t even know where to start...Even though me and my mother would go at it sometimes, you could never stay mad with Salome for long, she wasn’t someone who would hide what she thought, but she was someone that cared for everyone around her. She would always make these big pots of food to share, and sometimes she wouldn’t even get any, but she would always say that it was okay as long as everyone else got to eat. She would call me every day to check in with while I was at work, she would always wake me up when I overslept so I was never late in the morning . She was my greatest company, sometimes it would just the 2 of us hanging out at night. Nowadays the empty dean just makes me miss her so much. She was a mother and father who never stopped working or took holidays, and I can tell you there aren’t many mothers like that. She was one of a kind, and all the time, everyday I miss her so much. She was the best, I love you Salome.

Ma Sye was one of the most outspoken individual I had the privilege of meeting, she was able to let you laugh as she had the funniest way of expressing herself when she would give a joke. Ma Sye was my mother's best friend who would encourage, comfort and support her during life's ups and downs.
Ma Sye's home was one of the few homes we were allowed to visit while growing up in Sandside and there we saw her at her best, caring and sharing with all who came by, how she manage to do it still amazes me.
Ma Sye you have passed on but will never be forgotten, love you then and forever. May your soul rest in peace.

Ma Sai would always tell us about the good times in Jamaica. Every time my family and I came around it would be a great joy to listen to her reminisce to the funny stories of friends and family. Thank you for the sweet memories Ma Sai. You are deeply missed.

Salome was like a savior to me. When I was 17 in the streets in Jamaica with my first daughter cardella and she took me in with no hesitations. When came back together in America, she was still active in my life with my 3 kids at the time. I always could count on her support and love. So losing her and not being able to properly send my prayers pains me. But I know she is in a blessed place.
