Sarah C. Vaughn

Sarah was born in the Bull Run area of Coeburn, Va. She lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Nederland, TX before coming to Kingsport. Sarah was a beautician for over 40 years. She had many wonderful and loving friends, family and excellent caregivers. She loved life, cooking and was always helping others including animals. Sarah was a member of Gravelly Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Percy Vaughn; three sisters, Jenny Taylor, Goldie Dobber, and Margie Bailey; three brothers, Charlie Adams, Ervin Adams and Worley Adams, and her little white poodle, Muffie.

Sarah is survived by her brother, Albert Adams of Nederland, TX and a sister, Viola Adams of Kingsport; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm in the chapel with Pastor David Salley, officiating.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Ft. Lauderdale Memorial Gardens, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
