There are only a handful of people in life that one is honored to have known.  Sue-Ning Barry is among these few.  As research scientist, teacher, mentor, and loyal, thoughtful friend, she has touched each of us in different ways.  I found her unique perspective on life refreshing, and at times humorous.  Sue-Ning faced life's challenges with grace and dignity, always maintaining her characteristic "joie de vivre".   We should each take a page from her book!  Although I will miss hearing her voice, Sue-Ning will live on in my mind and heart.  I extend my condolences to her family members and friends. 

Sue lived her life with gusto, grace and dignity.  Her spirit of adventure took her around the world where her knowledge, experiences, interests and talents made her the extraordinary person that I was privileged to know.  She is greatly missed.
