I was just thinking about Tom today and thought I'd do a Google search. We've been out of touch for many years, but I have a deep fondness for him. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Tom and I attended Thunderbird graduate school together in the early 90's and I remember that he had a great smile, beautiful penmanship in whatever language he was writing and a tender heart. Robert, I'm sorry for your loss. I would be pleased to hear from you to share our memories of Tom. Rest in Peace! Jahn

Dearest Robert. Our hearts go out to you on the loss of Tom. Although I only met him once, his smile, his warmth and his generosity of spirit have always remained with me over the years you have been together. I could hear it in your voice when we have spoken on the phone through the distance between your home and mine. He provided a safe harbour for you. He was the masthead that allowed the winds to fill your creative sail and for you to explore new waters. And, of course, you brought to him your flare, your humour and your compassion. Watching the video what struck me, besides a sense of sadness and loss welling up inside me, was the look of happiness, of contentment on both of your faces. These two come from deep love, deep friendship. May Tom's memory always be with you and guide you. You have been blessed to have had such a bond, one that cannot be broken, even by death. We send you love and big hugs. Blaine & Jamie
