

Vinette Foster is survived by her children Peter, Patrick, Marie and Nikki, sisters Gwendolyn and Bermine, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Foster and her daughter Debra.
Vinette was born on December 13, 1940 in Southfield, St. Elizabeth, JA to parents Lyndon and Marion Haye. She graduated from Durham College in JA with a degree in accounting. She moved to Kingston and accepted a position as an accountant at Jamaica Fishermen Co-op Union Limited where she later became general manager until retirement. She was also a successful businesswoman where she partnered with her husband to form Foster’s Hardware and Foster’s Trucking and Construction Company.
Vinette was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in her church at the Constant Spring Church of God, where she was a long-standing member. She enjoyed fellowshipping with friends and family and will be remembered as a spiritual, giving and loving person.
A viewing is scheduled for Vinette Foster on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, with a service to follow at 2:00 pm. There will be a reception in the Heron Room from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. The family would like to thank family and friends for their condolences.
