Walter was born in Newton, NJ. He has lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL for the past 35 years. Walter is survived by his wife Shirley of 71 years, his children Dawn Rooks (Alan), Richard Kampka (Terry) and Kimberly Kampka, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He worked at M&M Mars for 32 years in Hackettstown, NJ and Publix in Plantation, FL for 20 years.
Walter's memorial service is scheduled for 2pm on September 7, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church of Fort Lauderdale, 101 SE 3rd ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
