Electric Service in Chicago and after moving to Florida he worked for Harry Hollywood Cadillac in Bay Harbor Islands. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Navy, Seabees Division. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, was a volunteer policeman for Arlington Heights, Illinois. He was a member and served on the board of the Freedom Foundation and was a member and Elder of Church by The Sea. Wayne Sladek was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Lorraine Sladek, and his sister Genevieve Cresson.Wayne Sladek is survived by his wife, Lillian Joy, Daughter, Dianne Hendrix and husband Scott, Son Wayne J Sladek Sr. and wife Christie. Sisters, Eleanor Smith and Barbara Hodge.
