Mr. William F. Bordes

William was born on November 19, 1948, in Somerset, Kentucky, to Shirley Bordes and Ada Canada. He pursued higher education and earned a bachelor’s degree before building a long career in the banking industry. For many years, William worked as an in-house bank auditor, a profession that became an important part of his life.

Outside of work, William had a strong appreciation for good food and memorable dining experiences. A true foodie with refined tastes, he especially enjoyed Italian and French cuisine and took pleasure in discovering restaurants known for exceptional food and elegant dining. A beautifully prepared meal and an outstanding restaurant experience were among the simple pleasures he valued most.

William also loved spending time near the beach. Whether enjoying the coastal atmosphere or simply appreciating the surroundings, the beach remained one of the places that brought him enjoyment and relaxation.

William will be remembered for the life he built, his successful career, his appreciation for fine cuisine, and his enjoyment of the experiences that brought him happiness.

William will be laid to rest at Somerset Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 718 S Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, US, on September 19, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
