William R. Urquhart, 85, of Davie, passed away on November 18, 2017. He was born in Cohoes, New York on December 24, 1931 to parents Ruth and Alexander Urquhart. William was married to Virginia Kuse Urquhart on December 15, 1985. He had a career as a tugboat captain and worked for Howard Backus Towing.
He is survived by his wife Virginia; 4 children: Cheri Chambers, Robert Kuse, Mike Kuse, and Wanda Rosencrans; 8 grandchildren: Phillip, Patrick, Mendi, Sheri, Brandon, Jarrod, Kylie and Zachary; 4 great-grandchildren: Lillian, Summer, Matthew, and Joshua; and 2 siblings: Tom Urquhart and Linda Flynn.
William will truly be missed.
