

Reverend Winston Lloyd Brown was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Brown on March 13, 1937, at Barnstaple St. Ann, Jamaica. He was the first of three children. Reverend Winston Brown received his early education at Gibraltar Elementary School in St. Ann, Jamaica. He then received a scholarship for highter education. When he was in his 20's, he started working as a missionary.
In 1970 Winston migrated to Canada where he furthered his education and received his bachelor's degree in education, masters in education and theology and Ph.D. in tehology. He was a pastor for many years for the United Church of Canada.
Winston got married in 1974 to Joy, and their union produced one son, Drew Brown. In the late 1980's Winston migrated to the United States. He had a daily radio program in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, spreading the work of God. He subsequently was in the works of creating a Christian radio station in Jamaica, but it was short-lived because he began having eye problems.
Winston then moved to St. Lucia and began evangelistic work. He stayed in St. Lucia for six years. In 2009 he returned back to the States, in Florida.
Winston was always involved with doing the work of God. He was a man of integrity with greater character and great wisdom. His love for people was extraordinary. No task was too great. He was a man of faith like the Apostle Paul. He fought a good fight, finished his course and kept the faith.
Winston is survived by his son Drew and two grandchildren, his two sisters, Nerissa and Mavis, and nieces and nephews and many other relatives and a host of friends.
