To my Xiomie, the feisty little woman with a sense of humor and huge heart, who embraced many in her lifetime. Her family were the most important people in her life and wherever she was so were they, even as we grew in numbers, that's what she instilled in me. A wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great grandma. Thank you for the personal times we had alone, wisdom and memories we shared in the last 42 years.
So as you gracefully walk into the arms of our heavenly father to receive you well deserved blessings and rest, know that you will forever be loved and missed. Lisa

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved mom I know that she just had a birthday August 29th. She was a wonderful person who really enjoyed life and having a great time with family. I remember many times on the weekends going to New York with Ponciano to visit and her teaching me how to prepare paella and oxtail Cuban style and also Bacalhau (codfish). There are so many memories that I can’t begin to write here. I just know that my memories of Xiomara will live on throughout my days. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family and may God Bless you and Comfort you all in this time of sorrow. I may not communicate often, but know that you’re all in my heart and mind.

Much Love to you all from Sheba and family ❤️

My best memory of Xiomara is when I first met her in NYC. I went up to visit with Lisa and Wilfredo. Lisa and I were in the apartment with her, she Lisa and another friend were in the kitchen talking (in Spanish, which I do not understand). But Xiomara told Lisa to bring me in the kitchen with them and had me be a part of there conversation (with Lisa translating of course). She made me feel that day that I belonged there and that I will always be a part of her family. I love Xiomara and I am going to truly miss her and I know how much she loved me too!
