I never met Carmen, but she became a part of my daily life as I  read her posts daily. I enjoyed reading about Marco and Polo. I also followed her when she had medical difficulties.  She will be missed and I feel she is now baking bread in heaven. God bless you Carmen! R.I.P.

I never met Carmen. I became FB friends some time back, and enjoyed her posts. I just saw Glenn's comment on her post. I will miss her humor.  I'm sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry to hear about Carmen.   She holds a very special place in our hearts.  She was a very special woman and we loved talking to her.   Please know you all are in Our thoughts and prayers.

Carmen you were one of the kindest funniest people I have ever met. You told me over 2yrs ago to be careful chickens were addicting.  I laughed and said I wouldn't have to worry about that. At that time I had 3 chickens. Now 2yrs later I have 21 chickens.  You were always there for any questions I had about chickens or anything else in life. You were one of my first friends after moving here to Golden Valley.  I loved coming to your house and talking politics with Glenn.  Rest in peace Carmen you are loved and missed by many of us. 

I hadn't met Carmen in person but I sure read her posts daily. Loved her stories of Marco and Polo her Foster Failures as she called them. I found her inspirational with always keeping busy with her chickens and bread baking. I miss her and think of her often.

Carmen, I will miss all your wonderful posts I would wake up to every morning.  You always brought a smile to my face with your wit and humor. Because if you I now have Eddie Jr. and Cassie , my two beautiful cats. I will miss trading pictures of our cats on messenger. I feel blessed to have gotten the chance to meet you and your wonderful husband Glenn in December. I appreciated the fresh eggs you gave me and your delicious home made bread. We talked about seeing you and your husband when we came into town again. We never know what tomorrow can bring but I felt blessed to at least have you for a little while in our lives.
