A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Road, Bullhead City, Arizona, with U.S. Army Military Honors.
Harley had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping throughout his life. He proudly served in the United States Army and was especially grateful for the opportunity to visit the World War II Memorial in honor of his father, who served during World War II. The experience brought him a profound sense of connection to his father's legacy and sacrifice.
Family was the center of Harley’s life. Following his retirement from Peabody Coal, he cherished spending time with those he loved most. His family shared, “He brought us all together as one family, whether we were related by birth or not. That was the kind of loving man he was.” One of Harley’s proudest accomplishments was building a cabin in Idaho alongside Lorraine, where they created many treasured memories. He also loved traveling with Lorraine and remained deeply proud of the family he built with his first wife, Janie.
Harley was preceded in death by his parents, his three sisters, and his wife of 41 years, Francis Jane Robertson.
He is survived by his loving partner of more than 20 years, Lorraine Rich; his son, Russell Robertson; his daughter, Pamela Robertson; his brother, Danny Robertson; his granddaughters, Morgan Robertson and Nicole Robertson; his grandson, Cody Robertson; several great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and extended family members.
Harley will be remembered for his love of family, his generous spirit, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
