

Born on May 29, 1927, in Sarcoxie, Missouri, to William and Eula (Oexman) Carr. Imogene grew up in Carthage, Missouri. In 1948 she married Bill Martin, and together they raised three children.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose kind and gentle heart touched everyone she met.
Gifted with a natural eye for beauty, she had a talent for decorating and a love for antique shopping and china painting. She was a fan of the Angels and enjoyed watching the games. Known for her timeless elegance, she took pride in her appearance always impeccably dressed, with her signature red lipstick and neatly polished nails. She also had a sweet tooth, delighting in her favorite candies and ice cream.
She is survived by her children. William "Lance Martin” of Fountain Valley, California; David Martin of Huntington Beach, California, and Jana Odell of Fort Mohave, Arizona, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Everett and Emil.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri. Imogene's gentle spirit, faith, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
