
Shari was born on December 31, 1947, in Lynwood, California. She built a life rooted in devotion to her family and quiet dedication to her work. After a long and successful career as a bookkeeper, she retired to enjoy the simple pleasures she loved most.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Jack Kaylor, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.
Shari is survived by her sister, Nanette Castor of St. George, Utah; her daughter, Janet Engebretsen of Poway, California; and her son, Jack R. Kaylor of Fort Mohave, Arizona.
In her retirement years, Shari found joy cheering on the Arizona Diamondbacks and faithfully watching her favorite game shows. Those who knew her will remember her warmth, loyalty, and the quiet happiness she found in everyday moments.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. Shari will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Jack, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where they will be reunited once more.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
