

Agatha M. Ganno age 97, passed away on May 6, 2020. She was born June 1, 1922 in Cambridge, MA and lived most of her life in Somerville MA. She worked for many years at the Hammett School Supply Company as an administrative clerk. Aggie married Fred Ganno and moved to New Port Richey, FL in August of 1977. She relocated to Fort Myers, FL with her sister and niece in 2017 and lived out her remaining months at LifeCare of Estero since November of 2018. She lived her life to the fullest and was a treasured member of her family. Aggie was a special woman who always smiled and was appreciative.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred in 1999 and 3 sisters; Anna Sarkisian, Antoinette Loprete and Stella DeCristofaro and 3 brothers; Charles Stevens, John Prespolis and Alphonse Prespolis. She is survived by her sister, Helen Martin of Fort Myers (formerly New Port Richey); her niece, Anne Carta and her husband, Michael and many other nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
A private burial was held at Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park in Fort Myers, FL. For information, please call 239-334-4880.
