Anita Marie Barber Buff

Anita Marie Barber Buff, age 76, of Alva FL, passed away on June 27, 2021 with her family by her side. Anita is survived by her loving husband Edward M. Buff and her children Eric M. (Liz) Buff, Dawn M. (Jim Minchin) Buff, and her "adopted daughters" Renee, Ramona and Robin Wilson. She was the loving grandmother to Vivian (Jim) Stiagle Bailey and Jordan Perea. Bleoved great grandmother of Havanna Othon. Cherished sister of Donald M. (Anne) Barber, and David A. (Richi) Williams.

Anita was preceded in death by her mother and father Beverly Jean Williams and Donald C. Barber along with her stepfather Harry L Williams. Anita was a proud teacher with a Masters in education. Anita was very passionate about her work as a volunteer Naturalist at Manatee Park. Anita was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and the Alva Garden Club. She also worked as a pyrotechnician.

Services for Anita will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park; 12777 State Rd. 82 Fort Myers, FL 33913 on Saturday, August 14th, from 12pm to 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in Anita's memory to Hope Hospice located at 9470 Healthpark Circle Fort Myers, FL 33908.
