

Born on January 30, 1940, in Newark, New Jersey, Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, dedication, and love for her family. She graduated from Harrison High School and went on to build a successful career in hospitality before later serving others through her work in home health care.
Above all else, Anna's greatest joy was her family. She loved them deeply and treasured every opportunity she had to spend time with them. Whether it was a family vacation, a family gathering, a holiday, laughing together, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments meant everything to her. Nothing made her happier than having the people she loved together.
Anna shared a loving marriage of 66 years with her husband, Richard Barros, whose companionship and devotion were among the greatest blessings of her life. Together, they built a strong and loving family that remained the center of Anna's world.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Barros; her children, Janine Varga and her husband, Andrew Varga; Richard Barros and his wife, Aimee Barros; and Keith Barros and his wife, Irene Barros.
Anna was also a proud and loving grandmother to AJ, Nicholas, Samantha, Kyley, Gerard, and Danielle. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Keith, who passed away in 2011.
Anna was further blessed with three great-grandchildren, Sean, Alonzo, and Levi, who brought her tremendous joy.
She is also survived by her sister, Josephine Allen, and her brothers, Joseph Toman and John Toman. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Toman, who passed away in 2006.
Anna also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, each of whom held a very special place in her heart. She thought the world of them, cherished the time they spent together, and loved them dearly.
Anna will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her strong work ethic, her caring spirit, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her legacy of love, perseverance, and compassion will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched.
Family and friends will forever cherish her memory and the love, laughter, and countless memories she leaves behind. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
