Anne Elizabeth Chandler

Anne was a dedicated employee of Sunshine Ace Hardware in Bonita Springs for almost 40 years. She started as a cashier, was promoted to head cashier, and became a familiar face for numerous customers throughout those years. Her final position with the company for many years was behind the scenes working in the office and helping with bookkeeping related items. She cherished the friendships she created as several people became like family to her.

Anyone that knew Anne knew how much she loved her cats. She homed an abundance of them in her 70 years of life and had three remaining in her and her husband’s care before her passing: Tobey, Tippy, and Boomer. She loved her boys very much.

Anne will be remembered for her kindness and unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David J. Chandler, Joe as she called him and Annie as he called her. Her children, Virginia Mitchell, Heather Martin, and son in law Jimmy Martin. Her grandchildren, Taylor, Corey, Devin, Madison, Lukas, and Chloe. Her great-grandchildren, Cayden, and Elsie. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara Zeigler (Tom), Ralph Knockwood (Michelle), Susan Knockwood, Mary Horton, and Raphael “Jay” Seile Jr. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Raphael J. Seile, mother Marion D. Seile, and stepfather Robert “Bob” Douskey.

Anne’s legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We find comfort in knowing she is home with the Lord forever.

A celebration of life will be held at River of Life Assembly of God, 21580 River Ranch Road, Estero, FL on Thursday April 25, 2024 at 5pm.
