To my loving and caring Uncle Austin,

I have many great memories of us together and I am pleased to share this one. You flew all the way to cold Canada for my mother Ava's 80th birthday. We drank and danced the night away. I didn't know you had all those moves! I guess we know what side of the family we get our moves from!
Your presence made that night all the more special for our entire family, especially my youngest daughter Sharise. Thank you for being an awesome uncle and great-uncle. We will miss you!

To the family of Uncle Austin, although we did not have the opportunity to have met Austin in person, the number of conversations in which his name came up has made him a part of our household. It was with deep sadness we heard of his death. Our deepest Sympathy to the entire family.
Keep in mind, Life is not ended but Changed.

May his soul rest in peace.

To My loving Dad
I just want to say thank you for all the things you have taught me. You have left me with an image about worshiping the LORD that can’t be replaced two weeks ago. I thank Jesus Christ for you because of this.
You have shown us by example on seeking the Lord daily

Our beloved patriarch, Uncle Austin, is one of our family's greatest and most cherished blessings. He had the gift of making us all feel appreciated and loved in his presence. Uncle knew the value of family and understood what it took to keep those bonds sacred. He was fully present when in our company and joyfully shared in so many of our celebrations. We were all his favorites. Loyalty wasn't just a word for our Uncle, it was a way of life.

Uncle Austin, thank you for sharing those lessons with us. Thank you for the random phone calls to check in. Thank you for the prayer books and baby blankets that spontaneously showed up in the mail. Thanks for being there for birthdays and weddings and baptisms. Thank you for being our example of a life well lived, and a life will loved.
You'll always be in our hearts.
