Betty Kinslow Tharpe

Betty Kinslow Tharpe, 81, of Fort Myers passed away January 7th, 2025 peacefully with her family by her side. Betty was born in Nashville, TN on October 29th, 1943. She was raised in Myakka City, Florida and later married the love of her life, David Hudson Tharpe on February 2, 1963. They built a beautiful life together in Bradenton, FL and subsequently moved to Ft. Myers, FL in in 1975, where they raised their three children, Kelli, Jennifer and Matt.

Betty's greatest loves in life were her family, friends and church family. Betty is survived by daughters Kelli Tharpe and Jennifer Budreau (Jon); daughter-in-law, Heather Tharpe Moorhead; granddaughters, Sadie Henion (Mitchel) and Hailey Tharpe; grandsons, Jacob Budreau and Hudson Budreau; great-granddaughter Kinslow Faye Henion. Betty is also survived by her sisters Carolyn Tharpe and Gerry Daniels along with her many nieces and nephews. Betty was a friend to many and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20th, 2025 at Gulf Coast Church of Christ of Fort Myers, FL.
