Bruce and I worked together for many years at the sands casino. He opened his home up to me when I was without a place to live also by renting me a room to live in on South Carolina ave. In Atlantic City. I’ll never forget his kindness.
Rest In Peace Bruce. There is definitely a place in heaven for you. God Bless you.

I will always cherish my memories of bruce . I was a card player at the casino , I would walk in and never a night Bruce was working would he not come up and ask me how my family was and if I needed anything. . We had so many laughs to together , actually the last one was about someone leaving 40,000 dollars in chips in the bathroom and another person turning it in . He said people were superstitious in that way , he said he guessed if they returned it that would bring them luck . I laughed and said I would be borrowing someone’s depends and stashing some chips . He was my sounding board as I was for him . I rode a motorcycle in and he would always tell me he was getting one and when he would see me he would say ,, Well I went and looked at a bike today I would just SMILE , it was his dream to own a bike and ride . Then it was all about finding a boat . I walk in the door now of the casino and there is a void and empty space in my heart , I will say I have never ment someone with such a Big Heart and Simple Dreams , God gained an Angel and I in my heart have to tell myself that Bruce is my guardian angel.. Oh yea he loved a good glass of scotch . I can go on forever I can see his expressions his little smerks . Bruce will forever be in my thoughts and prayers . His memory ty will always put a smile on my face, thank u for putting such a positive impact in my life . I love u bruce u were a special friend . My condolences and deepest sympathy to the family and to all the lives Bruce impacted ,Take care of him god for he is SPECIAL .

Working with Bruce Carter was a real honor , he instilled in us all his passion, pride and his desire for us to continue to seek knowledge so that we may flourish and succeed in table games. His customer service skills were one of the company’s biggest assets. He was a true loyal Seminole employee beloved and admired by us all . As a friend I enjoyed talking to him about Florida’s wildlife , a topic he truly enjoyed especially talking about his dog and the alligators and types of birds and snakes he encountered down by his canal . He will be missed . Rest In Peace Bruce Carter !!!

Dear Bear, My tail won’t wag, I’m sorry for your heart-felt loss. It’s never easy to loose our best friend. I can’t imagine your pain and confusion while waiting for Bruce to walk thru the door, exuberantly announcing its “cookie time”! Know your Dad loved you above all else; somehow I know his last thoughts were of you, Bear. Leaving you was not your Dad’s plan, it was God’s plan. He was summoned to heaven because Winston and others like him needed someone very special for love and guidance....so God choose to send the very best. Bruce always had a kind word in his pocket and made me feel special, like I was a ‘big dog’ at the casino. I will miss his kind heart, welcoming smile and gentle touch. Bear, cherish your memories and keep fetching for new; it’s cookie time!

Bruce was the best! He always had that wonderful smile on his face no matter what hour of the day or night.
We called him "Mr. GQ" because of his impeccable appearance always.
We will miss him.
