Canaan had several passions including "nerd-lore" such as Marvel comics, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. He loved dogs, especially Sophy, who lived in his room.
Canaan was a phenomenal artist. He enjoyed 80's music and gaming. Canaan delighted in a good road trip, as it generally spurred sweet memories of his dad, of whom Canaan spoke often. Anyone who knew Canaan would categorize him as an avid "foodie". He could never get enough Chinese food or sushi.
Canaan will be cremated in Florida and his ashes will be buried at Gordon, Texas, near his father, John Dickison, at the Russell Chapel Cemetery, on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 2:00 pm.
