Charles is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Robert Richter, Sr., mother-in-law, Jordis Martin, and other friends and family including, Frank Ryder, Michelle Ryder, Michael (T) Trott, Robert McDonald, and Karen Hoppe.
Charles is survived by his mother, Carmela Flavia Richter; his wife Karen Martin-Richter; his godmother aunt, Rose Teresa Anderson; his children: Joseph Robert Richter, Charles Anthony Richter, Ryan Louis (Catherine) Richter, Jessica (Brian) Jones; his grandchildren: Keydon Richter, Mari Richter, Amelia Richter, Arianna Jones, Graci Jones, Bryson Jones; his siblings: Joseph Richard (Judy Booth-Richter) Richter, Rose Marie (David Lee) Govanus, and Keith Spencer (Maria) Richter; his nieces and nephews: David Kyle Richter, Cynthanie Rose (Thomas Ogle) Richter, Elric Phalen (Izzy) Richter; his great nieces and nephews: Kamron Richter, Trinity Richter, and Kenway Richter; his godsons: Samuel and Joseph Ryder; and many other extended family and friends: Katie Ross, Greg Ross, Dominic Ross, Carolyn Ross, Parker Ross, Emily Ross, Angelina Ross, Karen Richter, Destinee Dunn, and Michael Maus.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corps. He was a Troop Leader for the Boy Scouts of America and a volunteer fireman for the Muse Fire Department in Glades County, Florida.

A memorial service for Charles will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lamb of God Church, 19691 Cypress View Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33967.
