I served with Charlie in Viet Nam. Our prayers go out to you in the time of sorrow. As I remember Charlie, he was happy go lucky and free. May God Bless him and his family at this difficult time.

Charlie, you were such a huge part of my childhood. I have so many great memories... scarying everyone in the haunted house, hide and seek late at night, Vietnam stories, raking the side property, seeing you again after so many wasted years.  I love you so much and I will miss you always. You weren't my Dad, but you were a close second. May you Rest in Eternal Peace surrounded by those loved ones past.

 We have great memories of Charlie, funny ones, serious ones and sweet ones.. He was an awesome hubby to my sweet friend Gail, a great daddy to Danny when he was just a lad, I appreciate how kind and devoted he was. He was hard working, good natured, and a man of great integrity. Joe chuckles when he tells me how he and Charlie enjoyed talking out on the porch during our visit when it was raining "cats and dogs" laughing and clowning around while Gail, Esther and I were in the kitchen laughing and clucking around preparing a meal. They both served in the USMC, and had stories to share of their experiences. Charlie battled the cancer combat in a courageous way and he didn't lose - he fought it to the end and his gain is being with Jesus Christ, our Savior and seeing the face of God. Joe and I send our deepest condolences to you all. May the Love of God  and His Peace Blanket you.
