Cynthia Matilda Mottley, 80, of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Florida on November 26, 2019. She was born to her parents on June 12, 1939. Sis. Mottley was a member the Pearl of Mt.Zion Chapter for over 18 years. She would drive from Ft Myers all by herself to be at meetings, whether it was raining or snowing. She was loved by all the sisters and brothers of different units. She was a very loving and giving sister; most of all very humorous. Always smiling; this sister does not know how to say no. Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Rollinson Mottley of Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by sons, Cameron Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, Moeth (Vera) Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, and Alex Johnson of Lauderhill, FL; nephews, Mark Johnson of Miramar, FL and Rollinson David of London, England; grandchildren, Ashley Johnson of Louisville KY, Sheena Johnson of Greensboro, NC, Inman Henry of Hampton, VA, Cameron Johnson Jr of Cleveland, OH, Cameron Fleming of Woodbridge, VA, Franchessca Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, Christian Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, Monet Johnson of Miami, FL, Cynthia Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, and Chelsea Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, Dorias Johnson of Miami, FL and Lil’yana David of London, England; great-grandchildren, Vera Johnson, Da’Von Johnson, Jay’la Johnson, Morgan Johnson, Jalen Brown, Jaxon White, Carmen Fleming, Aniyah Henry, Jessiah Henry, Ayana Henry, and Inman Henry, Jr.; and sister, Elma Johnson.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Ft Myers, FL 33913 on Friday, November 29th from 5-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anslem’s Episcopal Church, 2201 E 6th St, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936 at 10 am November 30th. Burial to follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery at 2pm.
