Cyndi was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Martha; her sister, Mary Ann; her partner, Jeff; and her son, Eric. She is survived by her brother Peter (Noreen); her sisters, Pamela (Raymond) and Susan; her brother-in-law Larry; her children, Zackary, Austin, and her daughter and family; her beloved daughters in-law Tomoko and Jacqueline; and her three cherished grandchildren.
Cyndi was a woman of quiet strength, deep convictions, and a wonderfully curious mind. She passed from this life having lived it fully, through both good times and hard times meeting each with resilience, determination, and heart.
She had a lifelong love of science fiction, delighting in stories that explored time, possibility, and the resilience of the human spirit. Those stories reflected something essential about her: a belief that there is always more to learn, more to understand, and more hope than first appears.
Cyndi took great pride in natural and holistic healing, trusting the wisdom of the body and the balance of nature. Her approach to life was guided by that same sense of purpose and mindfulness.
Stubborn when she believed she was right; she stood firmly in her values and lived them with intention. Above all, Cyndi was a survivor. Through joy and hardship alike, she adapted, endured, and carried on. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her children and grandchildren, in the wisdom she shared, and in the strength she modeled for all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
