David will always hold a special place in my heart as someone I could depend on to do whatever favor I needed done at work with no complaints "Anything for you" is what he always told me no matter what the request. When I first transferred to EVS David was one of the first people to welcome me with open arms and be willing to be patient with me while learning a whole new department. David moved with love always and you can tell how important family & family values were to him based off of how he talked about his loved ones, especially his wife. Walking into work these past couple of weeks doesn't feel the same knowing that he's not here with us. The past couple of weeks people from different departments have been stopping me to say that they're sorry to hear about David, and how friendly he always was. My deepest condolences goes out to the Hollis family, while I may have only had the pleasure of knowing David as his Supervisor for a couple of years I feel a void in my life with him gone & I truly can't imagine how big of a void you all are feeling.  Prayers to you all for healing and guidance during this very difficult time.

Healthpark hospital workers will truly truly miss you David. As we work through the years we become a big family. We all love you and miss you already, your taken a way to long vacation from us. But God knows the plans for you and we will all rise up one day and meet again. To the family, wife, children, grandchildren etc, our most deepest condolences and we know the hurt and pain you will go through but just know he was loved by everyone and will never be forgotten. So sorry for your loss.  To the Hollis family.

I’ve tried writing something to honor dad and each time I go to write something, I’m beside myself. I can’t seem to find the words, maybe because there are no words that can bring you back, dad. 

This has been the hardest season of my life without you here. I know if you were still with us, you’d tell me “Amber I know this is hard, but God doesn’t make mistakes”. You’ve installed such a deep sense of faith in me, so for right now, even though I do not understand why this has happened, I promise to keep my faith in the Lord, because that’s how you raised us. 

You were so loved, so cherished, and so respected. Rest easy daddy, we all love you so much.

Daddy, I am not ok.

I can’t come to terms that you are no longer here.  I pray you and Sean have a front row seat to all the Dolphin games and you keep me covered by whispering every so often in the air. 

The family values you taught me will last forever, be kind and loving to others, respectful and be cute and dance while doing it.

Daddy, I’m still at a lost for words. I can’t believe that I will never see you again, feel your touch or hear your voice. I’m truly heartbroken 💔 I know you’re in heaven with Sean watching over us. You were a great Dad always instilling in us what’s right. I always will remember you telling us treat people how you want to be treated. I miss you more than you know. It’s been really tough these past few weeks. I’m sure you’re dancing in heaven. Until we meet again in heaven and I can dance with my father again.

I pray to gain understanding why my father and brother are now my angels.    My dad was an amazing man, please watch over me with Sean.  I am struggling, I am angry, I am hurting….I am not ok.

One of the many special Christmas's spent together over the years. I love you so much dad, you will forget the best Santa to ever exist ❤️

To this day I still remember running to my dad after the gender reveal of my son, Aspen. I remember looking for his face in the crowd and I could just tell how excited he was to have another boy in the family ❤️

Not only was David an amazing father to his son and daughters, he was also the best grandpa. He made sure to help us raise our children with high values and morals.

David - the ultimate Dolphins fan!  He was also a great husband, father, grandfather and friend.   Kind, generous and loving, he has his eternal reward.  Rest well, my friend.

There’s no words to express the sadness and emptiness that us, the team of EVS and floor technicians from Healthpark hospital, are at this moment going through. David was a true character always smiling never a dull moment for him. Caring compassionate a very good friend and always there to give a piece of advice to any one that needed one. Our hearts go out to the family for the loss of this wonderful human being he will be truly missed by us. Our most sincere condolences.
