David James Landers

David was born August 4, 1987 to Randy and Tara Landers. He graduated from Lehigh Senior High School in Lehigh Acres Florida. He accepted Christ at an early age and was active in Missions and committed to the Worship Team of Riverside Church.

David loved music and produced and recorded a multitude of songs and a professional music video which can be found on YouTube. His professional career began with Florida Telco and later with Comcast where he was instrumental in changing the culture as some of his ideas were instituted and implemented.

David joined the Navy and quickly went up the ranks and made First Class Petty Officer within two years. Wherever he worked he had a positive impact. David was a friend to everyone and had a contagious personality. He was selfless, affectionate, fun-loving, creative, and strong.

He will be affectionately remembered by his father and mother, Randy and Tara Landers; brother and sister Brian Landers (Saraid) and Rechara Landers Groves (Paul); Grandmothers Lillie Mae Landers and Gwendolyn Rhodes; Nieces Lillie and Pearl Groves; Uncles and Aunts Lorenzo, Vernon and Stan Landers, Dorothy Bailey, Irma Keys, Paul Butler, Pyriner Booker, Corona Barrow (Nat), Kevin Rhodes (Wanda), Shay Childress (Jaanai), Julian Rhodes (Ashanti), Lynn Childress, Charla Schofield (Marcus); a host of cousins, including Shannon and Devin Landers; and a multitude of close friends.
