Diane Roberta Flynn

Diane R. Flynn, 74, passed away in Fort Myers, FL on Sunday, January 29, 2017 in her home after a long illness. Diane was born on October 20, 1942. Born to Daniel & Virginia Tina. Diane was born, raised, and educated in NY City and had many friends during her lifetime.

Diane married her eternal love, Edward D. Flynn, April 1, 1967, in Flushing Queens.

Diane has a (associate) business degree. Upon graduation she worked several years at New York’s City Hall as secretary to the President of the City Council. Diane and her husband traveled extensively to many countries and lived in many states in the US. Upon settling in Fort Myers for retirement, Diane and her husband enjoyed golfing, the beach, and entertaining. She loved to play golf, go to the movies and had an eye for decorating.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Christina Rodriguez and son in law Carlos Rodriguez; two grandchildren, Casey Nail and Caitlyn Nail and siblings, Daniel Tina, Donna Oleksiw, Douglas Tina, and David Tina. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward D. Flynn, December 19, 2004.
