Dolores M. Sacco

Dolores M. Sacco (nee Lett) age 91, of Wayland MI (formerly of Ft. Myers, FL) passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026. She is survived by two children: Margaret “Peggy” (Mike) Doran and John (late Belinda) Sacco; six grandchildren: Crystal, Michael, Megan, Liam, Teyla, Kristen; two great grandchildren, Reagan and Everett; two siblings, Michael (MaryAnn) Lett and Judy (Philip) Bodinet. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years Anthony (Tony) Sacco; parents, Michael and Anna May Lett; sisters: Dorothy Keating, Barbara (Don) Tomaszewski, Deanne (Marty) Kutka and Diane (Jim) Knicker.

Dolores was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. She loved to crochet and do crossword puzzles. She was a volunteer at Lee Memorial Hospital for over 15 years. She also was an active member of Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Fort Myers, Florida.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers any donations should be made to Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, 19680 Cypress View Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33967.
