He was a US Navy Vietnam veteran who received four Bronze stars during his years of dedicated service. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice; his niece and nephews: Kimberly Edwards, Donald Eggleston and Jeffrey Eggleston; great nieces and nephews: Alyssa, Jessica, Dakota, Alexis, Jacob, Dylan, Andrew and Joshua; and brothers: Frank Eggleston and Ralph Eggleston.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913 on Wednesday, August 20th from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Donald’s memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org.
