Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Theron and Margaret Smith, her daughter, April Wendlandt (Smith), her grandson Paul Vann and her sister, Stephanie Colson (Smith). She is survived by her son, Matthew Emerick and his wife, Amie; grandchildren: Dante, Kirsten, Cherry-Lea, Addison, Layla and Amber; 3 great grandchildren and many siblings (she was the oldest of eight) and many nieces nephews and friends.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Debbie’s name would be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org or to the American Autism Association at myautism.org.
