

Elizabeth (Betty) Hrinda Schultz age 93, of Cape Coral, FL formerly of Erie, PA area, passed away on June 26, 2018. Together with her husband, Homer they owned and operated the Western Auto Store in Waterford, PA before moving to Florida in 1970. They established a lawn and garden store in the Englewood area for several years before retiring and building their last home in the Majestic Golf Course Community, in Lehigh Acres, FL where she enjoyed many years of golf. Betty was also an accomplished seamstress, making all of her clothes including golf outfits for members of her golf team. She also learned how to make stained glass panels for some of the doors and windows in her home. Ceramics was also another hobby as well as upholstering furniture.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Homer of 65 years in 2013; parents, Michael and Elizabeth (Danko) Hrinda; siblings, Eleanor Hrinda, Ann Knorr, Mary Pangratz, John, Michael, George, Daniel, and infant brother Emil Hrinda.
She is survived by siblings, Irene Wisniewski of Erie, PA, Helen (John) Klier of Fairview, PA, and Joseph (Mary Ann) Hrinda of Fairview, PA along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service and entombment will take place in Fort Myers, Florida. For information call 239-334-4880.
