Ike was my favorite professor (among many wonderful professors) at UOP.  He is still a great inspiration to me.  I regret not keeping in touch with him but, I often think of him.  He was a great man and a fine example.

Ike was the poster boy for all that is good in man.

I enjoyed the phone calls and what little time I spent with Ike on the Isaac family tree project. I only regret not starting it sooner. An amazing beautiful soul inside and out. He was a warm,inviting and ever so kind. I was amazed at the things he had been through and the stories he shared of the family. He is an inspiration to many others as well as myself. Nothing ever seemed to stop him or get him down.  I'm sure my grandpa Moe is enjoying time with him together again...

I'm honored to be a member of his family.

Though I only met Ike a few years ago, I immediately felt as if I'd known him all my life.  He was one of the warmest, kindest, and most encouraging and supportive people I have ever met.  Seeing his smile overwhelmed me with joy.  I feel honored to be double-related to him and blessed to have had him in my life.  I will miss him greatly.

I guess I always felt that we never got to see enough of Uncle Ike and Ediith as I grew up with my siblings.  I was always so in awe when we did visit Michigan and we could swim I the backyard pool or Uncle Ike would take us to the gymnasium at Albion College to shoot baskets or just run around.  As an adult, any visits with him and I realized how much he knew about the world and how active he was in his daily life.   Blessings to Sue and the extended family.

Ike loved his wife. Ike and Edith showed me that a family could be loving,peaceful,and nurturing. We probably all went to college because of them. -a niece of Ike's

I'll always treasure the times we spent with Ike. He was a great motivator and supporter. He was warm, generous, and kind. My only regret is that I didn't meet him earlier. I hope his wonderful family can find solace remembering his presence in their lives, as I feel enriched by his presence in mine.

Although we never met, I'm sure Uncle Ike was a wonderful man who will be sorely missed by his friends and family. My grandmother was Dora Isaac Koch.

Ike was simply the best person I've ever known. He had a loving and unobtrusive way of bringing out the best in those fortunate enough to cross his path.
Time passed with Ike and his beloved Edie was time well spent in the truest pleasures of life.,a cowboy breakfast cooked over an open fire, Edie's beautiful garden, the serenity evoked by Ike's intricately carved and painted birds,gracious and loving hospitality.
I will always love Ike, and miss his presence in my life, but the enduring spirit of this extraordinary man will never die. As long as there is even one man willing to reach out a hand to help a child, Ike will live on.
