Frank Thomas La Rosa

Frank La Rosa, 84, passed away after a life devoted to family, community and service. Born in Little Italy, Manhattan, he began his career as a mail carrier and proudly served in the United States Army. He later served on the boards of Lee Memorial Hospital and the Lehigh Acres Fire Department, and coached youth football and T-ball. He shared 61 years of marriage with his beloved wife Bonnie. Frank was the proud father of Randy Frank La Rosa and his wife Tiffany, Jason Thomas La Rosa and his wife Jessie, and Frank Paul, “Frankie” La Rosa. He was a devoted grandfather to Leighann, Angelo, Lacey, Joshua, Nicholas, Tucker, and Brooke, and many great-grandchildren. He loved fishing, boating, and trips to the Smoky Mountains with family. His quiet strength, generous spirit, and devotion to his community and country will be remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, US, on August 17, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
