Geneva Jean Moon

Geneva Jean Moon, 82, of Lehigh Acres, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, September 15, 2025. Jean was born August 5, 1943, in Mesa, Arizona, second daughter of James Robert and Daisy Poletha (Gregory) Moon.

Geneva was involved in numerous ministries in service to God, including Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Leader, House Parent in an orphanage, Matron in a Shelter for Women, Assistant Minister in a church in North Tulsa, and an Associate Missionary to the Roma people in Romania.

She is survived by her sister Gwen Beck of Perry, GA, and brother Mike Moon (Phyllis) of Lenoir, NC; two sons: Erwin Goodwin (Randy) of Lehigh Acres, and Aaron Goodwin of New York City; three grandchildren: Carrie Teverbaugh (Solomon) of Flint, MI, Samuel Ryan Goodwin of Amsterdam, and Isaiah Goodwin (Kaitlin) of Tulsa, OK; and four great-grandchildren: Benjamin Teverbaugh, Evynne Goodwin, Hollis Goodwin, and Torrin Goodwin. She was predeceased by her brother James Robert Moon Jr.
